Broad Arrow Auctions held its first auction in Zurich—as part of Auto Zurich and in the exclusive setting of the Dolder Grand—with impressive results. The evening achieved total sales of more than CHF 22 million and a sales rate of 87 percent, a clear sign of the strong demand for exceptional collector cars in Switzerland.
The star of the evening was a 1956 Jaguar D-Type, one of only 87 ever built. The vehicle, which is in remarkably original condition and has never been used in racing, changed hands for CHF 5,181,250. Another highlight was a 2024 Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider in the rare color Gloss Storm Purple. After a lively bidding war, the hammer fell at CHF 2,706,250.
Ferrari also attracted considerable interest: a 1952 Ferrari 212 Europa Pinin Farina, once owned by actress Ingrid Bergman, fetched CHF 816,250, while a 1966 Ferrari
275 GTB Alloy sold for CHF 2,312,500. Porsche and Lamborghini also found enthusiastic buyers, including a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder, which went under the hammer for CHF 1,418,125. With bidders from 24 countries, Broad Arrow has clearly positioned itself as a new benchmark on the European auction scene—and is already planning its return to Switzerland in 2026.
