Kurt G. Thiel began his professional career in Geneva, Switzerland, at Caterpillar, where he remained loyal for 32 years.<\/i><\/p>\n
In 2016, he decided, with his wife, to start his own business and launch MOREFLOOR, a way to take his freedom, true to<\/i><\/p>\n
his motto: “Work hard and have fun.” Kurt defines himself as a freedom-loving person. This motorsport enthusiast won the<\/i><\/p>\n
Elf steering wheel at Magny Cours in late ’79, first participating in the French Formula Renault Championship, finishing<\/i><\/p>\n
5th in the championship with a victory at the Nu\u0308rburgring, before moving on to Grand Touring cars. There he discovered<\/i><\/p>\n
that he had the qualities required especially for endurance racing. Since then, he has participated in 25 24-hour races,<\/i><\/p>\n
including 3 first places at the famous Nordschleife and one in Dubai in 2021. Recently, he built his own Porsche 911 RSR<\/i><\/p>\n
2.8l (during Covid) and participated for the third year in the Peter Auto Championship. Most recently, he participated in<\/i><\/p>\n
the 2024 Tour Auto where he finished 5th overall. Not bad for a first attempt in rallying!<\/i><\/p>\n
