In 1955, for example, he addressed his employees in these terms: “A happy worker is a better worker who performs better, a happy boss is a better boss who is more successful. “This was a reminder of one of the group’s most important priorities: to focus on human capital.<\/p>\n
Emil Frey will become a legend by developing a major automotive group. His small workshop in Zurich was the foundation stone of a large group of companies in the automotive industry that today occupies a leading position in Europe.<\/p>\n
Today, the Emil Frey Group is known internationally, but remains a classic family business. The founder’s principles are still embedded in the company’s culture. When Emil Frey’s son Walter bought the company from his father in 1975, he refused to go public. It will therefore not be the shareholders or the banks who decide on the future of the company.<\/p>\n
